DJB Shipmates renew old and make new friendships
Buckley crew members started arriving in Orange Texas early in the week with
expectations of finding lost friendships and talking over old times. An
unexpected bonus was the opportunity to find new friends who also shared the
experience of serving aboard the Buckley; either as a DD or DDR.
Shipmates from Plank Owners to those who were aboard when she was
decommissioned and every year in between were in attendance. Sea stories were
told and retold and Karl Stroh compiled many of the stories sent to him into a

There were several crew members who attended but were not available at the
time individual pictures were taken. If you were one of those people and would
