~ James Wesley Null, 84, of Long Beach, Calif., passed away peacefully at
8:30 a.m., Sat., Feb. 5, 2011 in Huntington Beach, CA. He was
formerly of Born July
16, 1926 in He
was preceded in death by his 3 former wives; 1 son, Warren “Butch” Null; 4
sisters and 1 brother. Surviving
are his step-son & wife, John & Jeanne Seldon
of Long Beach; 2 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren;
7 step-great grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews. A
WWII vet, Jim joined the navy at age 16, serving 1942-46, and re-enlisting
1948-49. He was also a past master in 1965 of Masonic Lodge 263 in He worked
for Bemis Bag Co. in An
avid HAM radio operator W6MRL, he was a regular volunteer in the radio
room on the Queen Mary, after it was permanently docked in He
loved boating, fishing, gardening and helping others His
memorial service and Masonic Rites will be at 2 p.m., Monday, March 21 at
Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes and Crematory in |
